Veronica Scargill

I became a Trustee of BOLD many years ago, when my daughter was a member there.  In those days it was "Beds Garden Carers" and part of Bedford Mencap.  Now BOLD is a charity in its own right.

As to what I am able to contribute in the role of Trustee is my long assciation with the local Learning Disability community, and on the Bedford Mencap Committee

I served as a school governor for many years, at a variety of schools, special (St. Johns), lower, middle and upper, and was Chair for several years at Wilstead Lower, and Abbey Middle. 

It has been a privilege to observe BOLD moving from strength to strength over the years, some difficult times as well as positive ones.
